Instagram Data Deletion Instructions
If you log in to our platform using your Instagram account, we may collect and store certain information from your Instagram profile and public media using the Instagram Graph API. This data is stored only to provide the features and services offered by our application.
In compliance with Instagram and Meta Platform policies, we provide a clear way for users to request deletion of their data.
How to Request Deletion of Your Instagram Data
If you want us to delete all Instagram-related data stored in our system, please follow the steps below:
1. Send an email to info@secretsauce.com with the subject:
“Instagram Data Deletion Request”
2. Include the following information in your message:
* Your full name
* Your Instagram username
* The email or phone number associated with your account (if applicable)
* Any details that help us verify your identity
3. Once we receive your request:
* We will verify your identity
* Delete all Instagram profile data associated with your account
* Delete all public media we fetched from the Instagram Graph API
* Confirm via email when the deletion is complete
What Instagram Data We Collect
Depending on the permissions you grant, we may store:
Profile Information
* Instagram User ID
* Username
* Profile name
* Profile picture URL
* Email (if provided)
* Permissions granted to our app
Public Media (via Instagram Graph API)
* Media ID
* Media URL
* Caption
* Timestamp
* Media type (Image, Video, etc.)
* Thumbnail URL
* Engagement counts (likes, comments), if available
Automatic Data Removal
If you revoke our app’s access from:
Instagram → Settings → Security → Apps and Websites,
your access tokens become invalid and we automatically stop receiving or updating your data.
